Full-Time Front Office


  • Office Administrator

    The Ottawa Titans are seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and proactive Office Administrator to join our dynamic Front Office team. This is a full-time, permanent, entry-level position set to begin in September. Work hours will vary between the offseason and baseball season and will include some evenings and weekends.


    As the first point of contact for many of our fans, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing their experience with outstanding customer service. We’re looking for someone familiar about the sports and entertainment industry, fluent in both French and English, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced and exciting work environment.


    You will report directly to the General Manager and collaborate closely with all departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage front office operations, acting as the main administrative contact for visitors and staff.

    • Provide exceptional customer service by answering calls, addressing inquiries, and ensuring fans and ticket holders are fully satisfied.

    • Handle office supplies, inventory management, and organization of the front desk area.

    • Facilitate and assist with ticket and merchandise sales during office hours.

    • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and lobby, implementing best practices for office management.

    • Keep accurate records of all office documents and maintain organized filing systems.

    • Support in the creation and management of newsletters and social media content, from planning and writing to sourcing images and graphic content.

    • Research local events and coordinate the Titans' Street Team and Mascot appearances with event organizers.

    • Assist the General Manager with special projects and administrative tasks as required.

    • Provide support to other departments as needed to help achieve team goals.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    What We’re Looking For:

    • Bilingual (Fluent in both French and English).

    • Previous customer service experience in an office environment is required.

    • Strong ability to work independently, self-motivate, problem-solve, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

    • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

    • Proactive, strategic thinker with a knack for problem-solving and creative solutions.

    • Adaptable, approachable, and compassionate with a positive attitude.

    • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office tools.

    • Graphic Design experience (Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.

    • Canadian citizenship, residency, or valid work permit is required.

  • Fan Engagement Representative

    Are you a “hype” person? Never met a stranger? Love interacting with people? We have the “job” for you!


    The Ottawa Titans Baseball Club is looking for people to provide our fans with an interactive experience this year…from leading cheers, to encouraging dancing and providing the best sports atmosphere in all of Ottawa! 


    Our Fan Engagement Reps are welcoming, energetic and ready to help our fans have a fantastic night at the ballpark. If you’re a hype person, ready to work hard at having fun, come join us this season!


    Duties

    • Help Ottawa Titans fans have a memorable and positive experience

    • Engage fans throughout the game as required, following the Game Presentation Script

    • Amplify the guest experience in any way necessary

    • Greet as many people as possible and ask fans if they require assistance

    • Get medical aid to injured or sick fans promptly, if required

    • Observe the fans in your section to identify any problems

    • Participate in promotions including product tosses, Seventh Inning Stretch, and any other music that requires doing actions to increase crowd participation

    • Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to assisting the field maintenance team during weather-related delays, working in other departments, etc.


    Skills & Qualifications

    • Desire to engage with fans and consistently go outside your comfort zone to do so

    • Ability to provide excellent guest service; Effective communication skills

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Outgoing and energetic

    • Comfortable with appearing and entertaining in front of a crowd

    • Previous experience in dancing, theatre, or entertainment an asset

    • Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays from May 1 through September 22

    • Bilingualism (English/French) preferred

    • Living in Ottawa or the National Capital Region


    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to constantly stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions

    • Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift

    • Ability to climb stairs multiple times throughout the shift

    • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, and/or drag up to twenty-five (25) pounds if necessary

    • Ability to work in various extreme outdoor weather conditions, including exposure to the sun and heat

Food & Beverage

  • Back of House/Cook

    Duties

    • Preparation of food for guests at concession stands and for suites following all health and safety standards

    • Always maintain a clean and safe workspace

    • Assist with inventory management

    • Assist with opening and closing duties

    • Other duties as assigned


    Skills & Qualifications

    • Food Safety Handling Certificate considered an asset

    • Smart Serve Certification considered an asset

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

    • Experience in fast food or restaurant service considered an asset

    • Experience in other stadium or arena food & beverage roles considered an asset

    • Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays from May 1 through September 22

    • Living in Ottawa or the National Capital Region


    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to constantly stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions

    • Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift

    • May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces

    • Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds
