A Year of Exceptional Growth: Titans in the Community

Ottawa, ON - From expanding access to professional baseball to raising record funds for local children’s charities, the Ottawa Titans Baseball Club made a significant impact across the National Capital Region during the 2026 season, highlighted by new youth initiatives and continued charitable support.

Through the Ottawa Titans Field of Dreams Foundation, the Club raised close to $100,000 to support children’s charities and organizations throughout the National Capital Region, marking a record fundraising year. The funds will help local organizations continue providing essential programs and services to children and families.

Meanwhile, the Community Zone, supported by community-minded organizations including CAA North & East Ontario, Catch Enterprises, Junior & The Kid Wood Fired Barbeque, Soloway’s Hot Dog Factory, GoodLife Fitness Centres, Gordon Food Services, Green Works Contracting, and Welch LLP, distributed more than 2,000 tickets, giving individuals and families greater access to championship baseball at Ottawa Stadium.

The Titans expanded their commitment to baseball development across the Ottawa-Gatineau region with the launch of the Ottawa Titans Clubhouse Program. The initiative connects local baseball associations with the professional club, providing access to player appearances, coaching resources, a coaches’ clinic, and opportunities to host camps, events, and championship games at Ottawa Stadium. Through two marquee Club Day events and additional development opportunities, the program strengthens relationships among players, coaches, families, and the Titans while helping grow the game at all levels.

The Host Family Program also played an important role in supporting players throughout the season, connecting professional athletes with local residents who opened their homes and provided a welcoming environment away from the ballpark. By easing players’ transitions to life in Ottawa, host families helped them feel at home while building lasting relationships that extended beyond the season. The program reflects the strong community spirit behind the Titans and the meaningful connections the Club continues to build throughout the National Capital Region.

Beyond baseball, Ottawa Stadium continued to serve as a community gathering place, welcoming more than 15,000 attendees to non-Titans events throughout the year. Reinforcing the venue’s versatility, Nitro Circus and the Broncs and ‘Tonks Rodeo were among the headline events hosted at the ballpark over the summer.

“Our success is about much more than what happens on the field,” said Martin Boyce, General Manager of the Ottawa Titans. “We have a responsibility to bring people together, create meaningful experiences, and give back to the community that supports us. Seeing these initiatives grow alongside our fanbase makes this season especially meaningful for our organization.”

In recognition of the organization’s continued growth, business performance, and commitment to its fans and community, the Frontier League presented the Titans with its Commissioner’s Award of Excellence.

The 2026 season marks another step forward for the Titans as the organization continues to strengthen its connections with fans, partners, and community organizations throughout the National Capital Region.

The Ottawa Titans will open the 2027 National Association season on Friday, May 7, at 7:00 p.m., hosting the Trois-Rivières Aigles at Ottawa Stadium.
