Field of Dreams Foundation Accepting Funding for 2026

Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa Titans Field of Dreams Foundation is now accepting funding applications from registered children’s charities across the National Capital Region. Applications will be accepted from now through Friday, November 20, for funds raised during the 2026 baseball season.

Eligible charities must be based in the National Capital Region and registered as a children’s organization. Applications must be submitted online using the form linked below. Each submission should include a brief overview of the organization, the amount being requested, and a clear outline of how the funds will be used. The Foundation recommends that funding requests fall within the range of $1,000 to $5,000. For exceptional circumstances or initiatives, funding requests may fall within the range of $5,000 to $10,000. Funds will be allocated in early 2027, and distribution will begin in late February.

“Once again this year – especially after the success and championship of the Ottawa Titans during the 2026 baseball season, the Board of the Ottawa Titans Field of Dreams Foundation is excited about receiving and carefully reviewing application requests to fund deserving programs in our National Capital Region,” said Jacques J.M. Shore, C.M., President of the Field of Dreams Foundation. “In this fourth year of our Foundation’s selection process, it will be a joy and privilege for us to recognize those programs that achieve the objectives and criteria of our Foundation’s mission. While still beaming from the success of the team’s season, we are proud and thrilled to know that the Foundation’s funds, generated from our fans and friends, make such a positive and meaningful difference for our great National Capital.”

In May, the Ottawa Titans set a new single-game attendance record for the Frontier League (now the National Association of Professional Baseball), while also establishing a new single-day fundraising record through 50/50 ticket sales and fan donations. As the Club continued its historic run to its first-ever franchise championship, fan generosity and 50/50 sales continued to grow, with more than 32,000 fans taking in four playoff games. Throughout the summer, the newly launched K’s for Kids, presented by Farm Boy, raised $5,500 through pledges tied to Titans strikeouts, creating another meaningful opportunity for the Field of Dreams Foundation to support children’s charities throughout the community.

Last year, the organization proudly raised and distributed over $50,000 to 20 registered children’s charities throughout the National Capital Region. This milestone brings the total contributions to more than $150,000 in just four years, underscoring the organization's ongoing commitment to supporting youth-focused initiatives in the community.

Since its inception, the Ottawa Titans Field of Dreams Foundation has worked to create inclusive, meaningful opportunities for children of all ages and abilities – fostering life skills, friendship, and a lifelong love for the game of baseball.

The Foundation focuses on raising funds to provide access to baseball, other sports, and community-based programs and events. It partners with like-minded local organizations to strengthen its impact and expand its reach. Funds are generated through fan donations, memorabilia auctions, and 50/50 ticket sales during Ottawa Titans home games at Ottawa Stadium.

The Foundation is also extremely grateful for support from the following Corporate Partners throughout the 2026 baseball season: Richcraft Homes, BDO, Logan Katz, Porter Airlines, Loblaws, EQ Homes, and CF Rideau Centre.
