Ottawa, ON - The Ottawa Titans Baseball Club, the defending Frontier League champions, announced today that they have agreed to terms on a contract with right-handed pitcher Kyle Demi for the upcoming 2027 National Association season.

Demi (pronounced: DEE-my), 24, returns to Ottawa after missing last year due to injury and originally joined the Titans midway through the 2025 season. The 6-foot-2 right-hander made six appearances in his professional debut with the Club, allowing three hits and one earned run while striking out seven over 5.2 innings of work. Demi finished his brief stint with Ottawa with a 1.59 ERA.

A native of Wexford, Pennsylvania, Demi signed with the Titans in July 2025 after completing his collegiate career at the University of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania). During his senior season with the Panthers, Demi appeared in 19 games, including five starts, recording 42 strikeouts over 34.1 innings. His strikeout total marked a career high and doubled his previous single-season best.

Demi spent four seasons with the Panthers, appearing in 41 games throughout his collegiate career. He also gained summer baseball experience with the Strasburg Express of the Valley Baseball League, where he posted a 0.82 ERA and struck out 27 batters over 22 innings in 14 appearances during the 2022 season.

Off the field, Demi excelled academically at Pittsburgh, as he was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Baseball Team in consecutive seasons.

The Ottawa Titans will open the 2027 National Association season on Friday, May 7, at 7:00 p.m., hosting the Trois-Rivières Aigles at Ottawa Stadium.
