Les Blue Jays de Toronto signent Evan Elliott

Ottawa (Ontario) – Les Titans d’Ottawa sont fiers d’annoncer la signature du lanceur droitier Evan Elliott avec les Blue Jays de Toronto.


Elliott, 23 ans, a signé avec les Titans en novembre, en provenance de l'organisation des Rangers du Texas, au sein de laquelle le droitier canadien a passé trois saisons dans la Arizona Complex League.


Originaire de Toronto, Elliott a été choisi par les Rangers (15e ronde) en 2021 et a fait 15 apparitions en relève dans les ligues mineures.


Le droitier de 6 pieds 3 pouces a posé une fiche de 2-1 en carrière et une moyenne de points mérités de 4.70 en 15.1 manches.


Ancien membre de l'équipe nationale junior du Canada, Elliott a terminé la saison 2023 avec les Maple Leafs de Toronto de la Ligue de baseball d’Intercounty.


Les Titans vont amorcer leur saison 2024 le 10 mai en visitant les Knockouts de la Nouvelle-Angleterre. Le match d’ouverture au Stade d'Ottawa est prévu le mardi 21 mai que les ValleyCats de Tri-City seront les adversaires.
