Ottawa Titans Set MLB Partner League Single-Game Playoff Attendance Record

Ottawa, ON - The Ottawa Titans Baseball Club set a new MLB Partner League single-game playoff attendance record on Friday, selling out Game Three of the 2026 Frontier League Championship Series with 10,303 tickets sold.

The record-setting crowd surpasses the previous playoff attendance mark by more than 2,000 fans, set by the Somerset Patriots of the Atlantic League at 8,143 fans on September 21, 2018, establishing a new standard for postseason attendance.

It also marks the largest playoff crowd for an MLB Partner League game in Canada, passing 8,414 in Winnipeg for Game Three of the 1994 Northern League Finals.

The historic night comes just months after the Titans set the Frontier League’s all-time single-game regular-season attendance record, welcoming 10,278 fans to Ottawa Stadium for the 2026 Home Opener on May 8.

“Tonight is another incredible milestone for the Ottawa Titans, the Frontier League and baseball in this community,” said Martin Boyce, General Manager of the Ottawa Titans. “Our fans continue to show just how special baseball is and how strong it is in Ottawa-Gatineau.”

The record crowd has packed Ottawa Stadium with energy as the Titans continue their postseason run, with the Club looking for its first title in franchise history.

The Titans entered Game Three with the best-of-five series tied at one apiece – with the two teams splitting the opening games at Historic Bosse Field in Evansville, Indiana earlier this week.

Tonight’s record crowd marks another milestone in a historic fifth season for the Titans, who finished the 2026 regular season with a franchise-record 57 wins and have continued to build on record-setting attendance growth throughout the campaign.

“This is what #FullSwing looks like,” added Boyce. “Our players, our staff, and most importantly, our fans have brought this place to life all season long. Ottawa Stadium is full of energy tonight, and we’re incredibly proud to share this moment with our community.”

The Ottawa Titans thank the 10,303 fans who helped make MLB Partner League history tonight and continue to support professional baseball in Canada’s Capital.

The Ottawa Titans continue the 2026 Playoffs, remaining at home for Game Four of the Frontier League best-of-five Championship Series against the Evansville Otters on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. at Ottawa Stadium.
